Before Carteret County was home, it was where Jennifer and her family vacationed. Every summer, Emerald Isle, Maddox the Great Dane in tow. What she noticed wasn't just the beach — it was how naturally dog-friendly everything felt. Dogs weren't an afterthought here. They were just part of life.
Once she moved here full time, she noticed something else: a lot of people wanted to support local rescue but didn't know where to start. So she built the bridge.
That's the belief Crystal Coast Dog Club grew out of. Not another heavy nonprofit. Not a traditional rescue org. A community where doing good feels joyful, where you find your people, and where dogs are the reason it all works.
Dogs bring down walls. They start conversations between people who'd otherwise never meet. We believe rescue support doesn't have to come from an exhausting place — joy and impact can live in the same room.
Canine and equine photographer. Mom to two Great Danes, Eames and Killian. Her brain runs about ten tabs at once, most of them dog-related.

What we're not: not clique-y, not corporate, not another guilt trip dressed up as a good cause. We're protective of the fun here, on purpose.
